I had the absolute pleasure of working with Amanda last summer not once, not twice, but THREE TIMES in three months. We started with maternity photos, then she shot our wedding, and finally our newborn photos. I could not recommend Amanda highly enough. If you are looking for a photographer, RUN, don’t walk to book with her!!! I promise, you will not regret it.

They say one of the reasons to get family photography done is to have the memories twenty years down the road when you start to forget how things were, but they also bring you so much joy in the moment. I have so many of my photos printed and decorating every room in my house.

I was incredibly nervous to have professional photos taken, as I’m quite introverted and don’t like to have much attention focused on me, plus I feel like I am very unphotogenic. I messaged Amanda before our first shoot with my worries, and she assured me everyone feels this way and not to worry. On the day of, I was a ball of nerves, but right from the very beginning Amanda started cracking jokes and totally put my husband and I at ease. You couldn’t ask for a better photographer- she is fun, easy going, goofy but professional, and has the ability to take all pressure off so you can just have fun and enjoy your session (even if you don’t think you will)!

Almost a year later, I’m still in shock and awe at our pictures, and often get stopped and lost in thought as I walk around our house and catch glimpses of the beauty she managed to capture. While it is an investment, in my opinion it is 100% worth it. I’m already daydreaming of when we can have our next shoot, hopefully for our son’s 1st birthday when the sunflowers are out in September.
